Deadlock tier list FAQ
Who is the best hero in Deadlock right now?+
Over the last 7 days, Rat King leads with a 57.9% win rate across 458K games. The full S+ group is Rat King, Paige, Graves, Seven, Haze, Kelvin.
How is this Deadlock tier list calculated?+
We take win rate from public match data, shrink small samples toward the average so a hero with a handful of lucky games cannot top the list, add a small weight for pick rate, then place each hero by its distance from the median hero: S+ is 5 or more points above, S 3+, A 1.25+, B within about a point, C down to −3, D below that. Full details are on the methodology page.
Why do rank filters only use ranked matches?+
Since the July 30, 2026 matchmaking update, only Ranked matches carry an average rank. The All ranks view mixes normal and ranked games; every rank bracket uses ranked games only.
How often is the tier list updated?+
Every day. A scheduled job pulls fresh match data, rebuilds every table on this site and republishes it. The time of the last refresh is shown at the top of the page.
What does pick rate mean here?+
Pick rate is the share of matches a hero appears in (12 heroes per match). Some sites show share of all picks instead, which gives much smaller numbers — both rank heroes the same way.
Is a new hero's tier reliable?+
Not for the first few days. New heroes are marked with an asterisk while they have under 2,000 games in a filter, and their score is pulled toward the average until the sample grows.
